Every year, this penguin named Dindim travels almost 5000 miles to see the man who saved his life. Amazing, isn’t it?

This big-hearted fisherman, after saving the penguin from certain death, stayed with him for a long time. For almost a year he did not leave the injured animal alone, he fed it, cared for it, and it was only thanks to his great sacrifice that the animal got a second chance at life.

After it had fully recovered, the fisherman decided to release it into its natural habitat. But the penguin wanted to stay. -Joao told Indepedent.

The penguin knew he had to go to his group, but this man was like family to him. So he decided to go to the fisherman and kiss him every year as a sign of gratitude. He rejected any possibility of separating from his saviour for good.

Biologist Krajewski said that this behaviour of a penguin surprised many. He believes that Dindim considers the fishermen as his family.
