Dougie is a 15-year-old ginger cat who LOVES to be held. According to a post on the Facebook page of the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland:
The shelter had to get creative so that Dougie could be held while the staff was still busy with work around the shelter.
“We brainstormed and decided that a baby carrier would allow Robert [Weimer] to hold Dougie and still effectively do his job 🙂 And we think it’s pretty much the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.”
Dougie, who was battling an inflammatory bowel disease, was just put up for adoption this week. Luckily, this Facebook post went viral and he found a fantastic new home within a day!
