- Dogo Argentino
The Argentine dog, also known as dogo argentino or Argentine mastiff, as its name suggests, originates from Argentina, and the creators of this breed are the brothers Antonio Norez Martines and Agustin Martines. They had in mind an intelligent, strong and hardy hunting dog, friendly to other dogs in the “hunting pack”

Huskies are an intelligent breed, and intelligence is often the reason why owners can’t handle them. The character of this dog is so strong that it will think twice or even three times before doing what the owner asks of it. 5. Greyhound
These dogs are calm and social indoors and can be quite lazy. They are sensitive dogs that can become ideal family pets for inexperienced owners! Although they are gentle by nature, their natural hunting instinct is always present and owners must be prepared to take on the necessary responsibilities if they take this dog. Greyhounds are gentle with their families and usually stay away from strangers. They generally get along well with other dogs in the household, but cat owners should be extremely careful.
6. Cane Corso
Cane Corso is the pride of Italian dog breeding. Representatives of this breed are distinguished by their beautiful appearance and excellent protective properties. Despite the fact that Canes Corso looks quite threatening, their temperament is actually very friendly. They are gentle and kind.
7. Swiss white shepherd
These are dogs with a stable character, they are very self-confident and are very attached to the family, that is, the household they live with. They are friendly towards their owner. By the way, this is a very cautious and perceptive breed of dog, especially when it comes to strangers, because it is difficult to bond with new people.
What is interesting is that these dogs are not corruptible, they are difficult to deceive, and they bark at anyone unknown who approaches the household, so they are considered an excellent guard dog. They are not aggressive by nature, but they are not timid either and are quite tolerant. They are curious and playful, they always want to participate in everything. For example, if they notice that the owner brings firewood every morning, they will very quickly take a log in their mouth and carry it after you.
8. Fila Brasiliero
The Brazilian Mastiff (Fila Brasileiro) is a fairly old mastiff breed that was developed as a hunting and working breed in Brazil. It is one of two native Brazilian breeds, the other being, of course, the Brazilian Terrier. This is a massive breed and can certainly inspire fear and respect just by appearing, but these dogs form one of the strongest bonds with their owners. In Brazil there is a popular saying “faithful as Fila” and there must be a reason for that.
The Brazilian mastiff has been known by many different names throughout history, some of which still exist today. Some of these names are Cao de Fila, Fila, Brazilian Mastiff or Brazilian Bloodhound.

9. Kooikerhondje
Cautious, gentle and lively dog with a good nature. He is cheerful and sociable, he adapts to situations very quickly. At first he is reserved towards strangers, but quickly bonds with people and remains faithful and affectionate for the rest of his life.
10. The Portuguese Water Dog
Portuguese Water Dogs are natural athletes and have a special affinity for water. Their uniquely thick coat helps them stay warm even when wet, and these dogs excel in dock diving competitions. The muscular build of this breed was important because they were often used to retrieve lost fishing gear from the sea, to carry messages from a ship to shore or even to rescue people from the water.
