A man named Jason has dedicated his entire life to giving pit bulls a second chance at life. These animals are incredibly loving and loyal, but they are often misunderstood and abandoned by their owners in shelters.
Growing up with a pit bull in New York, Jason knew firsthand that they make the sweetest pets with huge hearts. After experiencing a difficult time following the loss of his brother, he contemplated moving away. That’s when he decided to start a new life in Georgia.
One day, Jason visited a shelter to find a companion for his puppy. He was saddened by the number of puppies that no one wanted. It sparked something inside him, and he knew he had to do something about it.
He began volunteering at animal shelters in Georgia to learn more about dogs and puppies. When he shared his idea with others, they doubted him, but that only fueled his determination.
He went on to open his own shelter called “Friends to the Forlorn” and made it his mission to take in all the abandoned puppies he could. His purpose is pure and straightforward, serving as a true inspiration to us all.
He shows us that instead of lamenting injustice, we should take action to eliminate it.
Jason also shared that people often tell him he runs a massive pit bull rescue, but he simply smiles and says that the pit bulls are the ones who rescued him.
