Although people don’t like dealing with black cats, that’s not the case here.
Black cats have been called “bad luck” for centuries, but that’s really exaggerated and unacceptable when it comes to these furry beauties. Especially when it comes to the extremely rare species of black serval found in the wild. Photographer Georg Turner captured this extremely beautiful and above all extremely rare animal.
It was a great luck and a great honor for the photographer to capture this incredible scene!
The serval we know most closely resembles its larger relatives, jaguars or leopards, in its patterns.
However, this specimen was pure black, which is extremely rare.
Another photographer (Sergio Pitamitz) was lucky enough to see the same serval again a few years later and take some photos for his collection.
