Abandoned Dog Was Found With The Most Heartbreaking Note After Her Mother Gave Her Up

This is a sorrowful story about a dog that was abandoned. McKamey Animal Center is a dog shelter that touched many people emotionally with one post on Facebook.

It was about a dog named Lilo. The dog, Lilo, was wandering near this center when McKamey Animal Center volunteers spotted him.
This beautiful dog was very calm; he allowed the angry ones to approach him. He had some sadness; he wanted someone to love him again. He had a leash around his neck, so the volunteers initially thought his owner might be somewhere around.
However, around his neck, on his necklace, there was a piece of paper with a message that read like this:
“My name is Lilo. Please love me. My mom can’t keep me and is homeless with two kids. She tried her best, but she couldn’t get help. I cost too much for her. She loves me. I’m a great dog, and I love to be loved. Please don’t abuse me.” The letter also said: “Please keep my name.”

MAC volunteers were too emotionally touched by this message. They decided to give him a chance, took him to a shelter, and cared for him.
Quickly after getting Lilo to safety, they posted a message on Facebook dedicated to Lilo’s owner.
The MAC volunteers explained that she did the right thing by leaving him near this shelter and that her reasons were acceptable. They realized this sacrifice was huge because giving up your friend Lilo is the hardest thing.
They promised to find a perfect family for this beautiful dog and keep his name.
They only regretted that Lilo’s owner did not contact this dog shelter for help. MAC cooperates with many sponsors who would be very happy to donate the necessary food and other necessary things, even medical treatment, vaccines, and chips.

They also provide rehoming resources available for situations similar to this.
McKamey Animal Center appealed to all dog shelters and shelters to follow their example and thus help in such situations. People who don’t have enough material resources already suffer enough, and because of that, they don’t need to part with their beloved pets.
