In a heart-wrenching incident captured on video, a mother dog is seen repeatedly digging up the graves of her deceased puppies. This heartbreak unfolded in Sichuan, Papua New Guinea, and Chipa, where the puppies were born.
According to Qin, the writer who documented the incident, two of the puppies had passed away at birth, prompting the mother dog to dig up their graves five or six times.
In the first scene of the video, the distressed mother dog can be seen carrying her puppies in her mouth. The owner intervenes and removes the puppies from the mother’s mouth.
In the second scene, the grieving mother kisses the lifeless bodies of her offspring while digging their graves.
The mother dog is visibly crying, and the caretaker attempts to console her.
The third part of the video depicts the mother dog walking with one of her lifeless puppies still clutched in her mouth.
Towards the end of the video, Qin makes an effort to retrieve the puppy’s body from the mother’s grasp.
It remains unclear whether any of the puppies survived the ordeal.
