Andre Rommel Young, better known as Dr. Dre (59), was bestowed with the 2775th star on the prestigious sidewalk in Los Angeles on March 19, surrounded by a multitude of friends and collaborators, including Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent.
Reflecting on his journey from growing up in Compton to achieving this milestone, Dre expressed gratitude, saying, “I never imagined that one day I’d be represented here among my childhood heroes. I’ve been lucky enough to make a living doing exactly what I love. How about that? Isn’t that a dream?”
Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Dre not only discovered new talents and pushed the boundaries of hip-hop but also reshaped the perception of the genre.
