In a shocking incident, a portion of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, collapsed after being struck by a large ship.
The collision occurred early Tuesday morning around 1:30 a.m., resulting in a section of the bridge, which carries both northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 695, catching fire and subsequently sinking. This tragic event caused several vehicles to plummet into the Patapsco River below.
