William and Kate extended an olive branch to Harry and Meghan amidst a tumultuous period for the royal family, as revealed by a royal expert.
In a recent disclosure, Tom Quinn, renowned author of “Kensington Palace: An Intimate Memoir From Queen Mary to Meghan Markle,” shed light on the offer made by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to the Sussexes. According to Quinn, William and Kate suggested that Harry and Meghan bring their children to England, with hopes of fostering reconciliation between the two families. However, despite this gesture, a resolution has yet to be reached.
Quinn elaborated on the situation, stating, “There is no indication that Meghan Markle (42) intends to bring the children to the United Kingdom at this time.” The Sussexes share two children, Archie, aged 4, and Lilibet, aged 2, born after their wedding in 2018. Following their decision to step back from their roles as senior royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan relocated to America.
Since then, their children have had minimal exposure to their father’s homeland, and their relationship with Prince William and Kate has been strained by the couple’s public revelations about the royal family, conveyed through interviews, books, and a documentary series.
