Igor Severino can forget about ever competing in the UFC again because he bit an opponent. Over the weekend, the “UFC Vegas 89” event was held in Las Vegas, where Rose Namajunas defeated Amanda Ribas by unanimous decision of the judges in the main fight of the evening, but the whole story is about a completely different “fact”. It’s about a fight between two Brazilian fighters that went viral on social networks!
Igor Severino and Andre Lima entered the “octagon” and somehow wrote the history of MMA. More precisely, that’s what Severino did, for whom this was his debut in the world’s best organization, the UFC, and his career ended after only eight minutes.
How and why? Well, he simply didn’t follow the rules that were prescribed and that’s why he’s “done” with the UFC forever, unless by any chance the “alpha and omega” Dana White decides to pardon him. Severino was in a clinch with Lima in the middle of the second round and once bit his hand. Of course, that’s not allowed and referee Chris Tognoni immediately stopped the fight and disqualified Severino. The victory went to Lima, who has eight fights in the same number of fights, and Dena kicked him out of the organization and promised the still “damaged” fighter 50 thousand euros.
